Onshore Pipelines
During the construction of an onshore pipeline, Inspection Veritas is able to provide quality control services covering the full range of activities, such as welding and other NDT type inspectors to monitor the actual jointing functions, coating inspectors to ensure that on- site coating of the welded joints are completed to code or specification requirements, experts in cathodic protection systems, specialists relating to the terrain such as road, rail or river crossings, Right of Way considerations such as agricultural and urban experts, and environmental engineers to assist with sensitive areas, such as rain forests or areas of scientific interest.
Offshore Pipelines
Inspection Veritas provides services on major offshore pipeline projects and has extensive experience of supervising work on high specification, dynamically positioned pipeline installation vessels during deep-water construction.
Inspection Veritas provides specialist inspection personnel who are fully conversant with S and J lay installation systems,
automated welding techniques and advanced NDE techniques, such as automated ultrasonic testing.

QUALIFICATIONS / TRAINING
All training is conducted by certified training institutions, host-facility operators, and/or the in-house trainers of Inspection Veritas. Written or oral testing methods are used to demonstrate that each employee has received and understood this information. Documentation of each employee’s training and the means used to verify that the employee understood the training, are located in Inspection Veritas headquarter office.
To assure nationally recognized training of our employees, Inspection Veritas utilizes the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) and (Veriforce) training curricula to train and evaluate employees. Inspection Veritas employees Certified welding Inspectors have successfully completed certification through either the American Welding Society, or the National Welding Inspection School. Inspection Veritas also employees Corrosion Inspectors who are Certified through NACE International, The Corrosion Society.
